Wise words that Filippo uttered after I pitched the idea of putting his award-winning wine in cans. Filippo Peppucci is 2nd generation winemaker who respects tradition and enbraces innovation. A rare combination, and one we are very greatful for. He has built a great repuation for high-quality wine in Umbria and at present the only place you can buy his wine outside of Italy is RIGHT HERE!
Only a valley between us
Ross spent alot of his childhood in Umbria. He always remembered seeing this stunning yellow house perched on the hill across the valley. Little did he know that yellow house was actually Cantina Peppucci! After years of enjoying Filippo's wine without knowing his whereabouts, Ross and his father and business partner, Kieran, went out to find Cantina Peppucci and tell him we'd love to use his wine for Cana Wine. In September 2021, Filippo opened his doors to us, heard our proposal, and by 9 am the following day we were in business.

Filippo is hard at work after Harvest this year. He is producing a sparkling rosé just for us.
